Community activists marched to the constituency office of Minister for State John Curran (Fianna Fáil) who has responsibility for the National Drugs Strategy and Community Affairs on Monday 19th October 2009 . He wouldn’t come out to speak with protesters but allowed some to go in.
People came from Clondalkin, North Clondalkin, Quarryvale, Kilbarrack and St Michael’s Estate to take part and to show that the community sector is not accepting the cutbacks. (IndyMedia Ireland)
Lunedì 19 ottobre alcuni attivisti hanno manifestato davanti all’ufficio, del suo collegio elettorale, del Ministro John Curran (del Fianna Fáil), che ha delega per le strategie sul contrasto alle droghe e per gli affari delle singole comunità. Il Ministro non è uscito per parlare con i manifestanti, ma ha fatto entrare alcuni loro rappresentanti nel suo ufficio.
Le gente è arrivata da Clondalkin, North Clondalkin, Quarryvale, Kilbarrack e dalla zona di St Michael’s per prendere parte alla manifestazione, che ha mostrato come queste comunità non vogliano accettare i tagli imposti dal governo.
